| An Elegant Downtown Historic Urban Inn |
In 1886, Harald Hansen, a reknowned architect, designed nine homes on this block, and of those which survived the 1960s modernization movement, The Hansen House Mansion is the most ornate as it was always intended for his own family and is now designated as a Historically Significant example of the rare Second Empire architectural style. As there have been only four owners of this rare home, it has retained all its original Victorian splendor -- mammouth pocket doors and shutters, carved oak staircase, inlaid floors of rare woods, ceiling medallions, original lighting fixtures and many Tiffany Studio stained glass windows.
We have four guestrooms to comfortably sleep eight guests. On the first level is a sitting room, formal dining room, half bath and fully-equipped eat-in kitchen. If you choose our Parlour Suite, there is a second small kitchen for your own use.

| We have two local chefs who will prepare a meal for you in our formal dining room, serving you in full chef's regalia on fine bone china and crystal with fresh flowers. Or you may choose to have an en-house cooking class, a great way for your group to socialize or a couple to bond. |
